Job description

Take on the role of Machine Operator at a leading Dutch manufacturing company, working in a modern production environment with a rotating shift schedule. You'll be responsible for operating, monitoring and adjusting production machines, ensuring the production process runs safely, efficiently and according to quality standards.

As a Machine Operator, you'll set up equipment, perform routine checks, solve minor technical issues and work closely with your colleagues to keep production running smoothly. Depending on the department, you'll rotate between different workstations, allowing you to develop a broad range of technical skills and gain experience throughout the production process.

What you bring

An MBO Level 3 qualification in a technical field, or an equivalent diploma from your home country
A minimum commitment of nine months; candidates interested in a permanent position are strongly preferred
Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Technical insight and experience operating machinery in a production environment, gained through education or practical experience
Relevant work experience
Functional English skills to communicate effectively with colleagues
A proactive attitude and a strong focus on safety and quality

What you do

Operate, monitor and adjust production machines to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production
Set up machines and perform changeovers according to production planning
Carry out quality inspections and report any deviations
Perform basic maintenance and resolve minor technical issues where possible
Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Rotate between different production lines or workstations to develop all-round operational skills
Work closely with colleagues and team leaders to achieve daily production targets
Keep the workplace clean, safe and well-organised
