Job description

Are you an experienced manager, team leader or supervisor looking for your next summer adventure? We’re recruiting for a range of exciting leadership positions at luxury beach clubs across Europe, offering the opportunity to combine your professional experience with an unforgettable season in the sun.

Whether you’re passionate about guest experience, sports and fitness, childcare, wellness or beach operations, you’ll play a key role in leading a team, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of your department, maintaining high standards of quality and safety while motivating your team and ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.

We’re looking for confident leaders who are passionate about their area of expertise, excellent communicators and natural team players. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility in a fast-paced seasonal environment, with the ability to inspire others, solve problems and bring out the best in your team.

With a variety of positions available, there are opportunities for experienced managers, department heads and supervisors to take the next step in their careers while enjoying the lifestyle that comes with working at some of Europe’s most stunning coastal destinations. Available positions:

This is your opportunity to lead, inspire and make a difference this summer developing your skills, working with an international team and helping create the kind of holiday experiences guests remember long after they return home.

What you bring

  • Previous seasonal or hospitality experience, ideally with some supervisory responsibility already under your belt
  • Relevant certification for your role: lifeguard qualification, coaching badges, spa or fitness credentials, childcare experience, food safety or first aid where applicable
  • Confidence giving instructions to a team, even if you're the youngest person doing it
  • Strong communication skills and at least conversational English; extra languages are a bonus, not a requirement
  • A calm head when guests complain, the heat's on, and your team's three staff short
  • Genuine enthusiasm for your specialism, whether that's fitness, water sports, childcare or wellness
  • Flexibility to arrive early for setup and training, and to work through the peak while everyone else is on holiday
  • The ability to show, not just tell, employers what you've actually achieved leading people before

What you do

  • Run your department day-to-day: Beach Manager, Guest Service Manager, Head Fitness Instructor, Head Lifeguard, Head Tennis & Racket Sports Coach, Spa Manager, Head Bike Guide, Children's Club Manager or Supervisor
  • Build and train a team of mostly first-season staff from April, then keep them sharp through the August peak
  • Write and manage the rota, run morning briefings, and keep standards consistent even when the club's at full capacity
  • Handle guest issues directly, including the awkward ones that land on your desk at 11pm
  • Keep safety front and centre, especially in lifeguard, water sports and kids' club roles
  • Deliver the day-to-day guest experience in your area: fitness classes, tennis lessons, spa treatments, bike tours or beach service
  • Act as the link between your team and senior management, flagging problems before they become bigger ones
  • Adapt plans on the fly when weather, bookings or staffing throw a curveball

What you get

  • A department-head title and genuine responsibility
  • Competitive seasonal salary reflecting your experience and leadership
  • Accommodation and meals typically included, so most of what you earn stays in your pocket
  • A contract running from spring setup through to the autumn close, giving you a full season to lead
  • A CV line that proves you ran an international team under real pressure
  • A reference that carries weight in hospitality, events and tourism back home
  • A coastal lifestyle with early morning swims, international colleagues and a front-row seat to some of Europe's best beaches
  • Training and support from senior management if you're stepping up to leadership for the first time
