Looking for a unique winter job by the sea? This one might be for you. Eexperience what it's like to live and work on one of the beautiful Dutch Wadden Islands. Enjoy fresh sea air, a friendly team of co-workers and comfortable staff accommodation while spending your winter in a truly special location.

As a bakery assistant, you'll start your mornings preparing freshly baked bread, croissants and other delicious products for customers. You'll also help keep the bakery well-stocked and tidy, and during busier moments you'll support your colleagues with other supermarket tasks. Every day brings a mix of responsibility, teamwork, and friendly customer contact.

Energetic and flexible personality
Experience in a bakery or with bread and pastry preparation is a strong advantage, though not a strict requirement

What you do

Bake off bread, croissants and other pastries each morning, making sure the counter is stocked and ready before the first customers arrive
Prepare and restock the bakery and food service section throughout the day
Keep the bakery counter and workspace clean and hygienic at all times
Support the wider store team during busy periods when extra hands are needed on the shop floor
Optionally take on grocery delivery runs around the island, provided you hold a category B driving licence
