Job description

We operate a calm, well-equipped crèche with indoor and shaded outdoor spaces designed for safe play, sensory activities and early years development.

We are now hiring both Early Years Practitioners (qualified) and Crèche Assistants (experienced, not necessarily qualified) to join our 2026 childcare team.

About the Roles
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you will either join us as a qualified Early Years Practitioner or as an experienced Crèche Assistant. Both roles work closely together as part of a supportive team caring for babies and toddlers aged 4 months–3 years. These roles are ideal for warm, confident childcare professionals — whether you’re Level 3 qualified or have strong hands-on experience from private nannying, ski nanny roles or working in nurseries.

We are hiring for:
Early Years Practitioners: For trained professionals confident delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting routines, leading play sessions and communicating clearly with parents.

Crèche Assistants: For those with hands-on experience caring for babies and toddlers, such as nannies, au pairs or nursery assistants. You’ll support the team in daily routines, settling children and assisting with activities.

  • EQF Level 4/5 qualification required for Early Years Practitioner applicants
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain before arrival)
  • DBS / Garda Vetting or equivalent
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
  • EU passport holder

What you do

  • Provide warm, attentive care for children aged 4 months - 3 years
  • Support daily routines: feeding, settling for naps, nappy changes and comfort
  • Lead and support sensory play, age-appropriate activities and outdoor experiences
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised crèche environment
  • Welcome families and offer friendly, reassuring daily feedback
  • Follow safety, hygiene and safeguarding procedures at all times
  • Work closely with the childcare team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Paid babysitting two evenings a week
  • Support risk assessments and uphold EYFS-informed best practice
