Job description

Imagine watching over the safety and hygiene of swimming pools at a Luxembourg campsite, where guests can enjoy the water carefree. As a lifeguard, you combine supervision with technical expertise: you observe swimmers, recognize potential hazards and intervene quickly to prevent accidents. Your presence provides reassurance to families while allowing everyone to recreate safely.

Maintenance and water quality are core to your role. You perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, manage water chemistry, take samples, adjust chemical levels and keep detailed records. In addition, you will ensure clean and safe washrooms, locker rooms and pool terraces, keeping the entire area inviting and hazard free.

This position requires qualified lifeguards with knowledge of rescue procedures, first aid, water safety and filtration systems. You will be physically fit, alert and accurate, with strong communication skills and command of English for international guests. In this spring and summer role, you will contribute directly to guest safety and enjoyment while maintaining the professional standards that define a quality vacation experience.

What you do

  • Maintain supervision of swimming pools during public opening hours to ensure guest safety
  • Maintain constant vigilance over swimmers and water activities
  • Maintain all maintenance, cleaning and cleaning tasks for swimming pool facilities
  • Manage water quality through regular testing and adjustments of chemical levels
  • Take water samples and maintain detailed quality records
  • Handle pool chemicals safely according to protocols
  • Clean and maintain filtration systems
  • Control access to pool areas and ensure that only authorized guests enter
  • Do perform daily supervision and cleaning of sanitary facilities and locker rooms
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of pool terraces throughout the day
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
  • Provide clear safety instructions and guidance to guests
  • Document all water quality testing and maintenance activities
