Job description

Imagine working in a bustling vacation park in Luxembourg, where every day you alternate between restaurant service, bar work and direct contact with guests from all over Europe. As a waiter and bartender, you'll ensure a warm welcome, accurate orders and smooth service while behind the bar preparing coffee, pouring drinks and making simple cocktails. The variation between serving tables and preparing drinks keeps your work energetic, informative and above all fun.

In addition to service, you will be responsible for a professional working environment: you will set up the restaurant, terraces and bar for opening, create an inviting atmosphere and end the day neatly. You handle payments via modern cash register systems, receive deliveries, replenish supplies and keep all areas clean and well organized. Thanks to your efforts, every service runs smoothly and guests feel welcomed and cared for.

In this seasonal role, you will work in an international, relaxed but dynamic environment. You will be strong on your feet, able to multitask, remain friendly during peak hours and have sufficient physical stamina. Good English skills are important, additional languages a plus. What you bring

  • Previous hospitality experience in restaurant or bar service (advantageous but not essential)
  • Basic beverage preparation knowledge (training will be provided)

  • A willingness to learn and develop new hospitalityskills

What you do

  • Take orders from guests in the restaurant and at the bar with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and warm hospitality
  • Clear tables efficiently and clean them between services
  • Operate the cash register and process payments accurately
  • Prepare coffee, beverages and cocktails according to quality standards
  • Use IT tools including tablets and POS systems
  • Furnish the restaurant, terraces and bars at the beginning of each service
  • Complete all closing tasks at the end of each shift
  • Clean and maintain all areas, equipment and utensils according to hygiene standards
  • Receive deliveries, unpack merchandise and store items correctly
  • Deal with international guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Cooperate with the hospitality team during busy periods
  • Maintain high service standards during all shifts
