Job description
Join our enthusiastic team at Victoria Hotel in the beautiful Austrian Alps as a bartender. This position offers you the perfect opportunity to combine work with an unforgettable winter season in popular Gerlos. You will serve drinks and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests after their day on the slopes. With a 48-hour work week spread over 6 days, you'll enjoy free access to our wellness areas on your day off, perfect for relaxing after busy shifts. This position includes comfortable accommodations within walking distance and ski slopes just around the corner making it an ideal seasonal job. You'll also benefit from comprehensive health and pension insurance, plus the unique Austrian benefit of a 13th and 14th month's salary (paid pro rata with your final salary). What you bring
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment
- Customer-focused attitude and friendly appearance
- Basic knowledge of beverages and serving techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English and/or German
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
- Team-player mentality
- Ability to live in the offered accommodation
What you do
- Serve drinks and refreshments to hotel guests
- Create a welcoming atmosphere in the bar area
- Deal with cash payments and maintain a tidy bar
- Prepare simple cocktails and mixed drinks
- Assist with bar inventory and inventory control
- Deal with international guests in a friendly manner
- Assist with special events and theme nights as needed
