Job description

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll work on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage systems. You’ll be on the job at various locations every day and play a key role in ensuring a safe and reliable energy supply.

No two workdays are the same. You’ll work independently or alongside colleagues on a wide range of projects in the field of energy technology. From troubleshooting to expanding the power grid, you’ll ensure that everything is carried out safely and according to schedule.

What you bring

  • A completed Level 3 or 4 MBO program in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable technical program
  • Experience with low- and/or medium-voltage installations
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering or energy engineering
  • A valid Class B driver’s license
  • Willingness to obtain any necessary certifications through us (in English)

What you do

  • Installing, maintaining, and replacing low- and medium-voltage power grids
  • Locating and resolving faults in cables, installations, and substations
  • Performing repair and connection work
  • Working on the expansion and renewal of power grids
  • Performing switching operations in accordance with applicable safety procedures
  • Inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrical installations.
  • Documenting work performed and reporting findings
  • Collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders on-site
  • Mentoring apprentice technicians or junior colleagues when necessary.
  • Participating in on-call or emergency response duty, depending on the client.
