Job description

There's a particular feeling you get when a full restaurant is running like clockwork, the bar is three deep and your team is handling it, the terrace is packed and nobody's had to chase a single order. You didn't just work that shift. You built it. That's the difference between being on the floor and being the one who holds the floor together. This role is the second thing.

Your new work locations is brand new, and it's a serious operation. 124 luxury holiday homes a short walk from the Zeeland coast, private beach access, a full-service restaurant, bar, terrace, and snack bar to run. The resort sits where the North Sea dunes meet the kind of flat open sky that makes Zeeland feel like nowhere else in the Netherlands. Guests come here to properly switch off, and the F&B experience is a big part of what makes that happen. 🌊

As F&B Team Leader, you're the operational heart of everything food and drink on the park. You're not managing from a distance. You're on the floor, working alongside your team, setting the standard by example, and making the calls that keep the whole thing moving. It's a hands-on leadership role with real commercial weight behind it, and it comes with an annual contract and a package that reflects that.

What you bring

  • Around 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role within hospitality, resort, or hotel environments
  • A relevant MBO or HBO qualification such as Leisure & Hospitality or Hotel Management is a strong advantage
  • A hands-on mentality: you're comfortable being on the floor and leading by example, not just delegating from the side
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how F&B operations affect the bottom line
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to be the point of contact for both guests and your team
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of the role
  • A good command of Dutch and English; German is a bonus given the international guest mix

What you do

  • Take operational ownership of the full F&B department: restaurant, bar, terrace, snack bar, and kitchen coordination
  • Work hands-on alongside your team every shift, coaching and supporting while keeping a sharp eye on quality and service standards
  • Write staff rotas and manage the day-to-day scheduling for all F&B areas
  • Place and manage orders for all departments, keeping stock levels where they need to be
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef on food costs, staffing costs, and the financial health of the department
  • Participate in management team meetings and take shared responsibility for the overall guest experience and presentation of the F&B facilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both guests and staff, resolving issues quickly and keeping service quality consistent
  • Keep all departmental administration organised and up to date

What you get

  • A gross monthly salary of €3,000 to €3,500 depending on your education and experience, on a full-time basis
  • An annual contract with a real prospect of a permanent position
  • A mobile phone and laptop as standard equipment
  • Staff discount to stay at resorts and hotels across the European portfolio
  • The option to join the collective health insurance plan
  • A role at one of the most attractive new resort locations in Zeeland, with a private beach and a full F&B operation to own
  • A driven team that wants to build something genuinely good together with you
